Here at The Jewellery Stop we are a small team and champion the skills, service and passion that women bring to our business. We'd like to introduce them and their roles within the company and share their favourite pieces from our collection.
Victoria - a.k.a. Tora
Tora is the designer of our key jewellery range called Watch This Space, loving everything to do with creativity and most importantly colour! Now based in France she spends many months in the UK heading up the premier retails shows such as RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Bath Christmas Market. Asked to pick a favourite piece, the key take away message was wearability, something our colourful jewellery range has in abundance!
"The Hollow Squares Necklace is fun, vibrant and always receives many compliments. It sits perfectly on my neck and the Verdigris colourway matches most of my wardrobe! I love Sherbet in this design too, it's so funky!"
Cheryl - a.k.a Che Che
Cheryl works closely with Tora on design and colour and tackles many of the design related tasks at The Jewellery Stop from new flyers to social media posts. Cheryl is our words woman generating much of the online content including product descriptions and email campaigns. She collaborates closely with the team as a buyer sourcing new products to compliment our beautiful online range including sterling silver, bags and scarves. What's her favourite piece?
"Well that's a tough question, I looove colour and unique design so my current crush is the stunning range of Soruka bags. They are eco, sustainable and crafted from leather off cuts, just beautiful."
Karen - a.k.a. Kaz
Karen heads up our bricks and mortar shop in the bohemian town of Kings Heath in Birmingham. Well known with our regular customers who return time and again to shop for their next favourite piece as well as finding an abundance of beautiful gifts on offer. Karen has great input into the range stocked at The Jewellery Stop with hot knowledge on what our customers are looking for. Both Karen and Cheryl work diligently to pack all of our online orders swiftly as well as responding to customer queries, priding themselves on stellar customer service. "I love layers and have a weakness for scarves! The Jewellery Stop always has such a fab array of colours available whatever the season. I'm big on green at the moment so love the Olive Green Geo Print Scarf."
Completing the wheel - Jaimie
Women make up 3/4's of our team, but we can't forget our Director, Jaimie - the numbers guy, tech superior and problem solver. Whilst not in a customer facing role, he keeps all the balls in the air behind the scenes and ensures our website is operational 24/7.
As a small team we all wear many hats, jumping onto the urgent tasks that the day to day running of a small business throws at us. We all love what we do and hope that comes across in our passion, product range and friendly service :)
